What Precautions You Can Take in Swine Flu

We are now (more |) more vulnerable to various strains of influenza virus. At first we were terrified of the bird flu virus, but in recent swine influenza has become more worried. Swine flu is more serious than the bird flu ever. There are fears that bird flu could change in voltage that would infect humans, but a few cases, but this did not materialize. Swine influenza was more relaxed, he has the ability to pass between people, so it is a very serious threat.

Swine influenza (flu (H1N1) is a disease that attacks the pigs is the result of the influenza virus. Outbreaks of swine fever flu is not unusual and is rarely fatal. In the past, swine influenza is not normally infect humans, but can sometimes happen.

Swine flu is very dangerous because it is a new type of virus. This is dangerous because no one has been exposed to this strain of flu before and that nobody has built immunity to this strain of flu. For us it is built immunity to prevent diseases from becoming life threatening, have no immunity to the virus of swine influenza, a serious danger. Absolutely everyone is vulnerable, including healthy adults and adolescents, and young children and the elderly.

The real concern is what happens when flu season begins in winter. This is when the virus can spread rapidly to cause an influenza pandemic with the potential for more than half the population may be infected.

The symptoms of swine flu symptoms are similar to seasonal flu. They may include sudden onset of fever, cough, shortness of breath. Other symptoms that may occur include headache, sore throat, muscle aches, chills, sneezing, runny nose, loss of appetite and fatigue.

Preventive measures to be someone with a cold or flu symptoms should be taken in a few simple but important steps. Influenza virus is transmitted between people by droplets from the nose and mouth when sneezing and a cough. This is the way of virus spread from person to person. Holding his nose and mouth, his hands when sneezing or coughing is not enough. Bacteria live on the hands, and everything that happens after contact infected. Anyone who touches you touch something and then take the risk of viral infection. Therefore, always use a cloth or tissue. Tissue is better, it should be removed as soon as possible, try to use the new tissue when sneezing or coughing again.

At this point, vaccination is not someone stop hunting fever flu. Swine influenza virus is a new virus strain, and not the same as seasonal flu. Vaccination against normal seasonal flu is not effective against influenza virus in pigs. Although the strain of flu virus which causes swine flu identified, it will take several months to produce. At that time, it can be changed into another strain again.

The only real effective measures against swine flu is Tamiflu. Tamiflu is not guaranteed to prevent flu, but when a person is exposed to another person swine influenza virus may help prevent the virus that person is sick. If Tamiflu is taken within two days of developing flu, may help stop the spread of virus throughout the body, thereby reducing the symptoms and risks. Governments around the world, the intensity of Tamiflu, the stocks, of course, used to treat essential workers and people before starting treatment in the general population.
