Summer Camp effects from Swine Flu

At least five children who participated in the Sherwood Forest area of Lesterville caught suspect that this influence fever, camp officials said today.

About 30 campers sent home after experiencing flu-like symptoms that last a couple of days. Five children tested positive for a type of influenza. Almost all influenza viruses are currently circulating from swine (H1N1) strain, which is a type A category. The State may conduct additional tests to validate the test.

About 60 campers stay healthy through camp August 2, and monitored by flu symptoms.

Outbreak follows similar events in the summer camp is a Lake Ozark, Branson and Potosi, as well as nationally.
