Hong Kong has reported two additional swine influenza-related deaths, bringing total to nine of the city.
Health authorities say one of the patients was a 47-year-old man with leukemia and the other was a 59-year-old man suffering from an unspecified chronic illness. Both deceased Wednesday despite treatment with antivirals and antibiotics.

Meanwhile, neighboring Macau reported its first swine influenza-related mortality, a woman who died Wednesday. Enclave has confirmed that the 1045 swine flu infections.
